Who made the American Flag? I believe Besty Ross created the American Flag. In June, 1777  Robert Morris, Colonel Ross, and George Washington asked Besty to design and create a flag. She accepted the request. More than two months passed, the three men [Robert Morris,Colonel Ross, and George Washington] came back to get the flag and use it for the Revolutionary War. This is why I believe that Besty Ross created the American Flag!
